Itinerary

Day 1

• Arrival in Yerevan
• City tour
• Overnight stay in a hotel or a guest-house

Day 2

• Setting off from Yerevan to Garni
• Hiking to Havuts Tagh monastery complex (distance: 8 km)
• Lunch
• Return to Garni, then setting off to Geghard monastery complex by vehicles
• Return to Yerevan
• Overnight stay in a hotel or a guest house

Day 3

• Setting off from Yerevan to Hayravank
• Noratus cross-stone cemetery, Selim caravansary, village Shatin
• Hiking to Shatinavank church
• Lunch
• Return to Shatin village (distance 6 km)
• Setting off to Noravank, Yeghegnadzor by vehicles
• Overnight stay in a guest-house

Day 4

• Setting off from Yeghegnadzor to Karahundj, Shaki waterfall, Vorotnavank church, Vorotnaberd citadel, Aghudy
• Lunch: during the trip
• Overnight stay in a hotel in Sisian city

Day 5

• Setting off from Sisian to Tatev church
• Hiking to Big Anapat and Satany kamurdj (the Devil’s Bridge)
• Lunch
• Setting off to Kapan city by vehicles
• Overnight stay in a hotel in Kapan city

Day 6

• Setting off from Kapan city to Vachagan village
• Аscent to the summit of the Khustup mountain
• Return to Vachagan village
• Lunch-picnic on the mountain
• Overnight stay in a hotel in Kapan city

Day 7

• Leaving Kapan
• A visit to Halidzor citadel, Vahanavank church, Baghaberd, then to Meghri city, a city tour in Meghri
• Lunch in Kadjaran

Day 8

• Return to Yerevan
