Itinerary

Arrival Day

  • Arrival to Yerevan. Introduction tour to Aspar Tour travel agency
  • Dinner. Overnight stay at one of Yerevan hotels

Day 1

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Tour to Yerevan brandy factory. Tasting famous Armenian brandy
  • Lunch
  • City tour to the most remarkable spots of Yerevan – Matenadaran, Tsitsernakaberd, Erebuni fortress
  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay at one of Yerevan hotels

Day 2

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Setting off to Etchmiadzin city, Armavir region. Visiting the Mother See of Holy Etchimadzin (spiritual and administrative centre of Armenian church clergy since 303 AD), Zvartnots temple included in the list of UNESCO's World Heritage
  • Visiting the ancient (1st century CE) and Geghard Monastery (dating back to 8th -12th centuries) included in the list of UNESCO's World Heritage
  • Dinner
  • Evening walk to the pagan temple of Garni
  • Overnight stay in comfortable tents and sleeping bags provided by the travel agency

Day 3

  • Breakfast at Garni Monastery area
  • Setting off to mountainous Lake Sevan lying at 1905 meters above sea level
  • Lunch
  • Swimming and rest
  • Dinner on the lake shore (pollan barbeque, crawfish, beer, etc)
  • Overnight stay in comfortable tents and sleeping bags provided by the travel agency

Day 4

  • Breakfast at Lake Sevan area Setting off for Idjevan city
  • Walking tour to Lastiver*. The trip (3 km) is estimated to take 20-30 minutes and requires moderate level of fitness
  • * Lastiver is located in picturesque, thick forest on the bank of river Khachaghbyur on 1200 metres above the sea level. The river has many gorgeous waterfalls and is famous for its delicious fish called Karmrakhayt (redeye). You will find yourself reveling in the stunning beauty of the scenery with small and large natural caves inside impressive high rocks rising from both banks of the river. Lastiver has all the conditions to please lovers of wild and active tourism.

Day 6

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Tour to Dilijan National Park
  • Setting off to Lake Gosh
  • Lunch
  • Walking tour through the forests
  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay in comfortable tents and sleeping bags provided by the travel agency

Day 7

  • Breakfast on the bank of Lake Gosh
  • Setting off to Goshavank Monastery
  • Trip through Selim Pass

    * The Selim Caravansary was built along the Selim Pass in 1332 for accommodating weary travelers and their animals crossing the Selim (Sulema) Mountains. It is the best preserved caravansary in the country.

  • Lunch at caravansary
  • Setting off Yeghegnadzor
  • Trip to Gomk village
  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay in the village boarding houses

Day 8

  • Breakfast at Lake Gomk area
  • Horse riding in wild nature
  • Lunch
  • Setting off to Yeghegnadzor city
  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay at the local hotel

Day 9

Day 10

  • Breakfast at aquapark area
  • Setting off to Stepanakert city
  • Walking cty tour in Stepanakert
  • Lunch
  • Setting off to Vank village
  • Setting off to Gandzasar Monastery complex (Martakert region, Artsakh)
  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 11

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Setting off to Tonashen village
  • Sightseeing at River Tartar area
  • Lunch
  • Setting off to Jraberd fortress

    * Jraberd (meaning water fortress) is an Armenian medieval fortress in Martakert region, Artsakh. The fortress is situated on the rock at the confluence of the river Tartar and its tributary Trkhi. The river Trkhi is one of the cleanest rivers in Europe which flows through the beautiful gorge, mountains and forests.

  • Sightseeing at Yerits Mankants Monastery

    * Yerits Mankants Monastery — a three-nave vaulted basilica church was built of clearly-trimmed and roughly processed whitish stone. The dome of the temple rises over four remarkable, square, cruciform pillars and the arches connecting them. The square beam of the door is completely lithographed carving-texture. The monastery is a striking example of late medieval architecture of Artsakh.

Day 12

  • Breakfast at Yerits Mankants Monastery area
  • Setting off to Sarsang reservoir
  • Sightseeing at Dadivank Monastery
  • Setting off to Jermajur (Warm Water)

    * Jermajur is warm mineral springs located on Tutkhun river bank. Jermajur water is similar to Karlov Var (Czech Republic) and Jermuk (Armenia) and is known for its healing features

  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay in comfortable tents and sleeping bags provided by the travel agency

Day 13

  • Breakfast at Jermajur area
  • Setting off to Vardenis and Martuni cities
  • Lunch
  • Setting off to Yerevan
  • Evening walk in Yerevan
  • Dinner
  • Overnight stay at the hotel

  • Departure
